25 Affirmations for Moms

Let’s face it. We don’t get enough praise as moms. When was the last time someone looked at you and said, “Girl, you’re doing a great job! Keep it up!” If it’s been more than a week, a month, or (heaven forbid) a year since someone told you you’re doing a great job as a mom, it’s been too long. Most people tend to be self-critical and not on the lookout to sing someone else’s praises. So, I have a two-part proposal. Number one: Start giving yourself affirmations every day. You can pick one or two from this list or tape the entire page to a mirror in your bathroom and run through them at the end of every long day. You not only deserve it, but it’ll help build your confidence. Number two:

Praise your husband. Praise another mom. Find someone to recognize for his or her efforts raising his or her kids. It’ll make others feel recognized and perhaps motivated to keep at it. Plus, you’ll get that hit of dopamine, giving you a warm, glowy feeling from sharing kindness. So here are 25 affirmations for moms. Why not start building yourself up right now?
