Who said thumbing through your Bible had to be boring? iMOM’s Bible scavenger hunt printable is a fun way to grow more familiar with the scriptures and have a friendly competition within your family, small group at church, or youth group. Everyone’s a winner with this scavenger hunt because you spend time in God’s word.
We’ve made two different Bible scavenger hunts. The first option is great for a rainy day because all you need is paper, a pen, and your Bible. Or you can put kids in groups and make it an icebreaker at your next children’s ministry gathering or vacation Bible school. Challenge the kids to try to come up with the answer on their own without looking it up with the reference we provide. Doing that will help sharpen their memories. If they need to look up the answers, it’s still a win! They’ll get more familiar with the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the order of the books.
The second printable Bible scavenger hunt is an outdoor activity that will get the kids tuckered out as they use their brains and legs to find the items on the list. Each clue on the list will lead them to a different item to find outside. They can snap a photo and share what they scavenged when everyone comes back together.
